LHH is partnering with a growing, dynamic company in North Atlanta to find a Director of Accounting and Finance. Key Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day accounting and finance operations, ensuring accuracy, GAAP compliance, and timely reporting.
• Drive budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Manage and mentor the accounting team, fostering growth, accountability, and continuous improvement.
• Evaluate and enhance accounting systems and processes to improve efficiency and financial visibility.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA strongly preferred
• 8+ years of progressive accounting and finance experience
• Proven experience managing and developing accounting teams (prior experience as a Manager, Controller, or Director required)
• Excellent communication skills; able to collaborate effectively across departments and with senior leadership
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on continuous improvement
• Must reside in the Metro Atlanta area (out-of-state candidates not ideal)
• Base Salary: Up to $150,000 + bonus and equity
• Hybrid work environment up to 4 remote days per week
