Job Description

Join our team as a Meat / Fish Cutter, where your expertise in food handling and preparation will play a vital role in delivering fresh, high-quality products to our customers. You will be responsible for cutting, trimming, and preparing meat and fish products to meet safety standards and customer expectations. Your culinary skills and attention to detail will ensure that every product is presented with precision and care, supporting our commitment to excellence in the food industry.

Responsibilities

• Skillfully cut, trim, debone, and portion meat and fish products according to specifications and safety standards.
• Prepare products for packaging by slicing, filleting, or portioning to meet customer needs.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work stations in compliance with food safety regulations.
• Assist with inventory management by rotating stock and monitoring product freshness.
• Handle food products safely, adhering to all food handling guidelines to prevent contamination.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing customer inquiries about product types and preparation methods when needed.

Requirements

• Strong knife skills with the ability to efficiently cut, debone, and prepare meat and fish products.
• Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling techniques.
• Experience with meat cutting, fish filleting, or culinary preparation is highly desirable.
• Ability to stand for extended periods while maintaining focus on precision tasks.
• Excellent attention to detail to ensure consistent quality and presentation of products.
• Good communication skills to work effectively within a team environment.
• Prior experience in packaging or food processing is a plus.
• A passion for culinary arts and a commitment to maintaining high standards of hygiene and safety.

Pay Rate

$18 to $22 per hour (based on experience)
