The County of Hawai`i is seeking a Victim/Witness Counselor for the Office of the Prosecuting Attorney - Victim/Witness Unit in Kailua-Kona. This is a temporary full-time position not-to-exceed 06/30/2026. The salary range is $59,532.00 - $72,516.00 annually.
The duties include providing counseling and case management services for moderately difficult criminal cases, acting as a liaison between victims/witnesses and the criminal justice system, and performing other related duties as required. There is a potential for conversion to a permanent position.
Minimum qualification requirements include a baccalaureate degree from an accredited college or university, one year of professional counseling or case management experience in a social service program related to the criminal justice system, and possession of a valid State of Hawai'i driver's license (Class 3).
