Position Description

The Project Manager will execute the project management functions for numerous clients and projects. They will be an experienced manager of self-performance demolition construction projects, have strong client interface and communication competencies, and exemplary contract development, negotiation and management skills.

Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Assist with drafting and updating project plans, timelines, and schedules under the direction of the project /account manager.?
    • Help coordinate subcontractor schedules, supplier deliveries, and internal deadlines.
    • Act as a communication bridge between project managers, field crews, owners, contractors, and vendors.?
    • Facilitate and schedule meetings, prepare agendas, and distribute meeting notes.
    • Provide status updates and relay critical information on behalf of the project manager.?
    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of contracts, permits, RFIs, change orders, and drawings.?
    • Track and archive all revisions and approvals for project documents.
    • Assist with preparing and monitoring project expenditures, invoices, POs, and budget updates.
    • Compile backup documentation for billings and assist with applications for payment.?
    • Collect field reports, timecards, extra work tickets, and daily logs for billing preparation.
    • Assist in assembling Schedule of Values (SOV) per specifications and track changes as the project progresses.
    • Help with compiling and updating monthly Work-in-Progress (WIP) reports, tracking project percentage complete, outstanding invoices, and status of retainage.
    • Order project materials and supplies under direction, ensure timely delivery, and verify receipt against orders.?
    • Schedule equipment, coordinate vendor setups, and assist with mobilization logistics (including flights, car rentals, and housing when required).
    • Collect and file daily safety documents, participate in site walkthroughs as assigned, and support compliance reporting.
    • Report and help follow up on safety or quality observations highlighted by others on the team.?

Position Requirements

Required Skills and Abilities:

  • Proven experience managing self-performance demolition or construction projects, including scheduling, budgeting, and documentation control.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to coordinate with clients, contractors, vendors, and internal teams.
  • Skilled in contract management, cost tracking, invoicing, and change order documentation.
  • Proficient with project management and construction software such as Procore, Bluebeam, Unanet, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Knowledge of OSHA standards and experience supporting jobsite safety documentation and reporting.

  • Project Planning & Execution: Skilled in developing schedules, coordinating resources, and ensuring projects are delivered on time and within scope.
  • Client Relationship Management: Builds and maintains strong client partnerships through clear communication, responsiveness, and trust.
  • Budgeting & Cost Control: Effectively manages project budgets, monitors expenditures, and ensures financial accountability throughout all project phases.
  • Contract Administration: Experienced in drafting, reviewing, and managing contracts, change orders, and project documentation to ensure compliance and transparency.
  • Safety & Compliance Management: Promotes a strong safety culture by enforcing OSHA standards and maintaining accurate safety documentation and reporting.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction, business, or related field of study.
  • Demonstrates exceptional oral and written communication competencies.

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
  • Ability to walk job sites when necessary.
  • May be required to travel to job sites and other locations.
