Mental Health Kokua is looking for dedicated and compassionate individuals to join our Kona team as Residential Assistants. This role is at the heart of our mission-helping residents build daily living skills, maintain stable housing, and move forward in their recovery journeys. As a Residential Assistant, you will:

• Serve as a mentor and role model, supporting residents with daily living skills, problem-solving, and community integration
• Teach activities of daily living such as cooking, personal care, and communication
• Respond to emergencies, maintain safety, and keep the home environment clean and welcoming
• Plan and lead meaningful activities that align with residents' interests and goals
• Assist with household operations and maintenance, ensuring safe and healthy living spaces
• Empower residents through the recovery model, focusing on growth, resilience, and self-direction
• Document services accurately and communicate effectively with case managers and supervisors
• Provide supervision, reinforce positive behaviors, and respond to crises as needed
• Support residents with medication self-administration in accordance with MHK policies

Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma. Training and supervision will be provided.
