AIRPORT OPERATIONS DUTY MANAGER - OAHU (DELEGATED)

Join the State of Hawaiʻi as an Airport Operations Duty Manager at Daniel K. Inouye International Airport, Dillingham Airfield, Kalaeloa Airport, and other State airports on the island of Oahu.

The primary purpose of this position is to serve as the Airport Services Manager, coordinating activities of in-house and contract services, ensuring safe and continuous 24/7 airport services, and complying with federal, state, and county laws.

Responsibilities:

• Direct and control operational security, maintenance, custodial, ramp control, intra-terminal transportation, ground transportation, airport medical, general aviation, air cargo, airline, airport tenants, users, and airport retail services functions.
• Make immediate, time-sensitive decisions in critical operational, life, and safety and customer service issues.
• Communicate with emergency response teams and upper management.
• Develop and execute complex operational plans with government agencies, tenants, users, contractors, media, and emergency response units.
• Initiate, investigate, and recommend operational improvements.

Minimum Qualification Requirements:

• Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university with a bachelor's degree.
• Four and one-half years of professional experience in air transportation facility or program operation and/or maintenance.
• Supervisory aptitude.
• A valid driver's license.
