What to Expect

Job Responsibilities

• Partner with senior business leaders to build a comprehensive, community and customer-oriented policy agenda
• Co-lead management of the Political Action Committee (PAC), including reporting requirements and managing outside vendors
• Drive a policy agenda that advocates for innovation, access to credit, consumer choice, and financial wellness
• Represent the company in navigating complex political, legislative, and regulatory landscapes at federal, state, and local levels
• Monitor and analyze state legislation and regulations, providing timely updates to senior company officials

What is Required

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5+ years of progressively responsible experience in public policy, advocacy, and/or government
• Demonstrated experience working with officials, regulators, legislators, and other policymakers
• Team player who values collaboration and recognizes the importance of shared goals
• Experience in the financial services industry preferred, with knowledge of government relations principles
• Willingness to travel up to 60% domestically
