responsible for the stores profitability, staffing, expense control, inventory levels and shortage control. /span /span/ppu span span strong ESSENTIAL DUTIES/FUNCTIONS: /strong /span /span /u/ppspan Oversees all daily store operations. /span/ppspan span Ensures maximum dollar sales volume and profits are achieved by effectively controlling all facets of store operations. /span /span/ppspan span Ensures compliancy of all government regulations, laws, and company policies and procedures. /span /span/ppspan span Conducts employment interviews on viable applicants. /span /span/ppspan span Ensures completion of the New Hire Packet upon the job offer, prior to attending the training sessions. /span /span/ppspan span Trains, supervises, evaluates and disciplines all staff as required. /span /span/ppspan span Ensures company standards are met by providing quality customer service in a prompt and courteous manner. /span /span/ppspan span Communicates needs, problems, concerns with supervisor as needed. /span /span/ppu strong span span Daily Duties: /span /span /strong /u/ppspan Assists in servicing customers and their needs. /span/ppspan span Completes and processes the stores daily paperwork as required. /span /span/ppspan span Ensures proper security and safety standards are met in handling company documents, money, and property (i.e., cash handling, banking). /span /span/ppspan span Conducts inventory and orders appropriate quantities of merchandise. /span /span/ppspan span Receives and processes merchandise in a timely manner. /span /span/ppspan span Stocks and merchandises inventory as required. /span /span/ppspan span Survey the premises (inside/outside) to ensure appearance, security and safety standards are met. /span /span/ppspan span Ensures proper store staff coverage. /span /span/ppspan span Trains and coaches store staff. /span /span/ppspan span Conducts daily competitor fuel price surveys, and communicates prices to Corporate as directed. Scheduled to work a minimum of 5 days and 40 hrs per week; all additional hours needed to maintain standards and adequate staffing, and avoid overtime; various shifts. /span /span/ppspan span Extended hours as necessary /span /span/ppspan span On-call to work varied work shifts (i.e. day, night, swing, or graveyard) as necessary /span /span/ppspan span On- call 24-hours/day for emergency /span
