Your Day at Lowe's

In this physically demanding role, you'll ensure that our stores are clean and inviting, which enhances our customers' shopping experience. Your main responsibilities include:

• Safely unloading merchandise from incoming freight and accurately stocking shelves.
• Maintaining the organization of the backroom and ensuring the sales floor is well-stocked.
• Replacing damaged shelving and handling hazardous materials when necessary.
• Engaging with customers by answering their questions and providing assistance with merchandise.

Key Responsibilities

• Accurately receive and stock products.
• Follow proper lifting procedures to ensure safety.
• Keep aisles clean and organized.
• Interact positively with customers, vendors, and team members.
• Report any safety concerns and maintain a safe work environment.
• Complete additional tasks as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

• Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills.
• Good communication skills and the ability to listen.
• Familiarity with using smartphones and common retail technologies.
• Ability to stand and sit for long periods.
• Capable of lifting 25lbs unassisted or over 25lbs with assistance.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience operating a forklift or similar lifting equipment.
• Background in warehouse inventory handling and stocking.
