Responsibilities:
Responsible for Scrum Team work Delivery
o Plan at the Release Level then Break the Work down by Sprint
o Maintain Scrum Team Backlog and work with Business/Intake/Scrum Team to prioritize work
o Map Stories to Sprints/Backlog Refinement
o Identify dependencies with other applications and highlight them

Determine/Monitor Scrum Team Capacity and future pipeline work
o Know what work the team has and what additional work they can take on and when
o Account for your teams PTO; Track resources
o Monitor & report on story completion; know your Backlog and move items as appropriate
o Account for time spent by the team on other work items; make sure to reserve time for Baseline, continued questions, Quicksize participation, SME assistance, Analysis, etc.

Work w/Release Manager & Team to document Estimates and Release Plans for assigned work
o Document Assumptions for planned work efforts/timelines
o Ensure that all types of testing are accounted for in the Estimates
Per Project: Unit Test, I-Test, System Test, UAT, E2E, SQA(Software Quality Assurance), Regression
Per Release: Release Regression
o Ensure Implementation Planning & Execution is accounted for in the Estimates
o Ensure Team Activities align to commitments & communicate as soon as issues arise
o Work with Test Manager to ensure Resources are assigned for Test Only items
o Ensure Implementation day activities are on track and Business checkout is successful.

Communicate Regularly w/Release Manager, Scrum Manager & PMs
o Provide Status of Scrum Teams work
o Provide the details of what your team has for work
o Provide status on schedule and issues; Request assistance as needed

Facilitate Sprint Retrospectives and provide feedback to Scrum Manager/Leads based on inputs
Scrum Master will facilitate inclusion of suggestions from Sprint Retrospectives into the upcoming Sprint(s) These are sometimes done at by Release and not Sprint, but if meaningful feedback is flowing and improvements are being made, that is fine.

Facilitate Scrum Meetings with your Scrum Team - Monitor task dates, schedule, and remove Blockers for the team
Facilitate Scrum of Scrum Meetings on a as needed basis
Lead Estimation discussions within Scrum Team and provide inputs to Release Manager
Lead/Track Sprint Demo with the Team at various stages - (Requirement Walkthrough, Design Walkthrough, Test Plan Walkthrough, Test Results are demo items)
Track Project Transition activities for the Scrum Team to Production support
o Steady State Transition is by Project/SR.
Provide Feedback on Scrum Team Performance as compared to Other Teams doing Similar Work SMs with Multiple Teams can provide feedback based on their teams; SMs with a single team can review progress with other SMs (subjective)
o Share Best Practices & Request Input
o Sprint Retrospectives can be shared with Fellow Teams
o Scrum Master should provide mentoring/coaching within the team

- Previous CVS experience (with strong internal references), healthcare industry
Requirements:
5+ years Scrum Master/Project Manager with Agile experience
Primary experience of Scrum Master with ability to wear Project Manager hat
Experience on Technical projects related to Applications/EDW etc
STRONG communication skills open and willing to communicate to leadership and their scrum teams and be vocal.
Can take charge of their scrum team- Negotiate between business and tech team, mediate when needed
Experience in both waterfall and agile
Experience JIRA, Rally, Clarity
Experience managing at least 2 Scrum Teams on large enterprise programs (ex: 70,000 hours)
Traditional Project Management skills: managing scope, budget, and timeline
