GDIT is seeking a VTC Technician with TS/SCI clearance for a full-time position in Hawaii.

GDIT provides DoDIIS customers worldwide with ESOC services, including Self-Help Knowledge Portals, remote Service Desk support, and in-field customer engagement. We serve as the first contact for IT problem resolution, aiming to increase user satisfaction, reduce resolution times, and standardize support across the enterprise.

Position Description

This role involves engineering, installing, troubleshooting, and programming a variety of video display equipment, including video feed devices, cameras, microphones, audio/video components, and playback/recording/duplication devices. The technician will develop standard operating procedures for accessing and using these systems.

Essential Job Functions

• Promote a positive and respectful workplace environment.
• Handle customer escalations and liaise with government and client officials.
• Provide courteous and customer-friendly support.
• Maintain current knowledge of AV components, equipment, and configuration software, including manufacturers like AMX, Biamp, Cisco, ClearOne, Crestron, Extron, and Polycom.
• Familiarity with software platforms and tools such as Red/Black separation, fiber optic and cable terminations, audio DSP configuration, control system programming, Microsoft Office, Visio, AV system design and troubleshooting, gain structure, UX design, graphic design, and serial/IP protocols.

Qualifications

• AA or equivalent plus 5 years of related experience.
• Active TS/SCI clearance with CI poly or ability to obtain CI poly.
• Leadership or supervisory experience is preferred.
• Certifications: Security+ CE or another 8570 certification, and PWS 9.1 certification.

Up to 25% travel may be required.
