Note: The position requires availability to work rotating shifts (Days, Evenings and Nights), including holidays, weekends, and on call (standby) as required. Services are provided 24/7.

Responsibilities

JOB DUTIES

This position serves as a system data and report analyst and as the liaison between the Information Technology Department and the users of the automated systems and the HHSC Information Technology Department.

Responsibilities include:

  • Serve as a system data and report analyst
  • Act as liaison between the IT Department and users of automated systems
  • Collaborate with HHSC Information Technology Department
  • Must be available to work rotating shift-work (Days, Evenings and Nights), including holidays, weekends, and on call (standby) as required

Shift note: Must be available to work shifts as necessary based on hospital operations; services are provided 24/7.

Minimum Qualifications

Education :

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year college or university

Experience :

  • Three and one-half (3-1/2) years of progressively responsible work experience in computer systems analysis involving analysis and design of systems for electronic processing of data; or stored computer programming experience involving participation in systems
  • At least one year of specialized experience at the fully-competent level comparable to the Data Processing Systems Analyst III level in State government
  • Supervisory aptitude

    is demonstrated through supervisory responsibilities, leadership roles, or relevant training and favorable evaluations

Working Conditions / Physical Requirements

  • Office environment with prolonged sitting and extensive computer use
  • Extensive travel to all HHSC facilities; long hours and irregular schedules
  • Ability to work in a variety of environments and facilities for extended periods as defined by project schedule

Required Documentation: Evidence of appropriate training (official transcript or degree) to credit education and/or experience. A legible photocopy will be accepted; official copies may be requested.
