Location :- Kealakekua, HI 96750

Duration :- 03 - 06 moths with possible extesntion

Pay Rate :- $ 28-30 HR

The Staffing Credentialing Specialist is responsible for ensuring that healthcare professionals meet all necessary qualifications and credentials required for employment. They manage the credentialing process, verify licenses, certifications, and education, and maintain accurate records to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Manage the credentialing process for healthcare professionals, including physicians, nurses, and allied health staff.
  2. Verify licenses, certifications, education, and other credentials required for employment.
  3. Communicate with healthcare professionals to obtain necessary documentation and information.
  4. Ensure compliance with organizational policies, as well as state, federal, and accreditation standards.
  5. Maintain accurate and up-to-date credentialing records using electronic systems or databases.
  6. Collaborate with hiring managers, human resources, and compliance officers to address credentialing issues or concerns.
  7. Conduct background checks and reference checks as part of the credentialing process.
  8. Monitor credential expiration dates and facilitate renewal processes as needed.
  9. Provide support and guidance to healthcare professionals regarding credentialing requirements and processes.
  10. Stay informed about changes in regulations and standards related to healthcare credentialing.

Qualifications:
  1. Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, business administration, or related field (preferred).
  2. Previous experience in healthcare credentialing, staffing, or human resources.
  3. Knowledge of credentialing requirements and regulatory standards in healthcare.
  4. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  5. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  6. Proficiency in using computer software and databases for record-keeping and documentation.
  7. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  8. Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and professionalism in handling sensitive information.
