Sr Design Verification Engineer (Remote) role at Encore Semi, Inc.

Location: Remote (Anywhere in USA) Employment type: Full-time (Salary + Benefits + Bonuses) / Contractor Work Status: US Citizen

Were looking for a Senior Digital Design Engineer to lead the development of advanced ASIC/SoC architecture. In this role, youll define specs, build complex RTL designs (Verilog/SystemVerilog), drive verification (UVM/TLM), and guide projects from concept to silicon. Youll collaborate across teams, support synthesis, timing, DFT, and test, and help mentor junior engineers.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development of advanced ASIC/SoC architecture.
• Define specifications and build complex RTL designs (Verilog/SystemVerilog).
• Drive verification (UVM/TLM) and guide projects from concept to silicon.
• Collaborate across teams and support synthesis, timing, DFT, and test.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to team development.

Qualifications

• Bachelors/Masters in EE/CS or similar.
• Min 10+ years of ASIC/SoC design experience.
• Strong RTL design and verification background.
• Proficiency with Synopsys/Mentor EDA tools and scripting (Python, TCL, etc.).
• Leadership mindset and a track record of first-pass silicon success.

Compensation & Benefits

• Anticipated annual base salary: $140,000 $160,000, plus a comprehensive benefits package.
• Full-Time Benefits: 15 days PTO, 10 paid holidays, medical/dental/vision coverage, life insurances, 401(k) options, and additional voluntary benefits.
