Seeking a dynamic Director of Catering & Events to lead a world-class Catering, Conference Services & Event Management team at a luxury oceanfront resort on the Big Island of Hawaii. The ideal candidate is entrepreneurial, innovative, and results-driven, with the ability to craft exceptional experiences that exceed guest expectations. You'll lead a passionate team while handling high-profile events, from luxury weddings and incentive trips to corporate conferences.

What You'll Do

• Lead and inspire the Catering & Event Management team, fostering growth and excellence.
• Drive revenue with innovative strategies, accurate forecasting, and budget preparation.
• Plan and execute high-profile events with creativity and precision.
• Cultivate strong client and vendor relationships, ensuring seamless experiences.
• Oversee financial performance and strategic planning to achieve business goals.
• Represent the resort in the local community, strengthening brand presence.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience as a Director of Catering & Event Management in a luxury resort or full-service hotel.
• Proven success with incentives, weddings, and the social market.
• Strong financial acumen, organizational skills, and a creative problem-solver.
• A collaborative leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
• Base salary range: $135,000 – $150,000 annually + bonus and a comprehensive benefits package.
• Candidates MUST have authorization to work in the U.S.

Compensation

Base pay range: $130,000.00/yr - $150,000.00/yr. Base salary range: $135,000 – $150,000 annually + bonus and a comprehensive benefits package.
