Position Overview

Punahou School is seeking After School Care Assistant Leaders to supervise students in Kindergarten through grade 5 in a safe and nurturing environment. Under the guidance of ASC Leaders, you will be responsible for supervising students and supporting activities that promote a safe, enriching environment.

Primary Duties

• Assist ASC Leaders in planning and implementing activities aligned with the program's vision and grade level themes.
• Lead students through various engaging activities.
• Create a safe, supportive, and engaging atmosphere for students.
• Handle daily operations of the program.

Position Details

• Work Year: 9 Months
• School Year: 2025-2026
• Work Hours: Monday - Friday, 2:15 PM - 5:30 PM (schedule may vary)
• Hourly Rate: $18.00

Minimum Qualifications

• Must meet Hawaii Administrative Rules (HAR) 17-896-1:
• Be at least 18 years old
• Work under the supervision of a program leader
• Attend orientation training provided by the facility
• Preferred: One year of experience working with school-aged children, administrative experience, strong communication skills, knowledge of child development stages and youth development principles.
