Patrols the buildings and grounds of the Hospital as well as the outlying properties to provide a safe and secure environment for patients, visitors, employees, medical staff and the protection to property. - Greets, assists and provides service to patients, visitors and staff in a friendly and professional manner. - Performs duties relative to accomplishing the Queens North Hawaii Community Hospital Emergency Preparedness function. - - II. TYPICAL PHYSICAL DEMANDS: - - - Required: finger dexterity, seeing, hearing, speaking. - Frequent: standing, sitting, walking/running, riding of a bicycle, stooping/bending, climbing stairs, twisting body, walking on uneven ground, squatting, reaching above, at and below shoulder level, repetitive arm/hand motions, static gripping of an object for prolonged periods, lifting, carrying, pushing/pulling usual weight of 20 pounds up to 50 pounds of force. - Occasional: kneeling, crawling. - - III.
