• Authorization & Permitting Navigate multi-state legal processes and expedite local permits to break into new markets.
• Physical Build-Out & Maintenance Manage campus construction, enhancements, and vendor performance to ensure top-notch facilities.
• Operational Setup Ensure every new school is launch-ready with fully configured systems, devices, platforms, and compliance measures.
• Financial Operations Develop budgets, create daily insights dashboards, and maintain audit-ready financial oversight for each school and sector.
• PMO Speed up tech and marketing projects with vendor evaluations, Wrike dashboards, and detailed reporting.

You'll design dashboards to eliminate financial uncertainties, create onboarding systems that drastically reduce student setup errors, secure regulatory approvals in new states, establish campuses swiftly, and develop AI-centric workflows that streamline traditional management layers. This role demands high-stakes, rapid execution from proactive creators, not passive observers.

What You Will Be Doing

• Take charge of one of six critical operational pillars: Authorization, Build-Out, Setup, Finance, or PMO.
• Address unprecedented challenges within your pillar using AI, automation, and swift iteration.
• Craft detailed specifications, dashboards, or runbooks to scale across numerous schools.
• Navigate real-world limitations: campus vendors, regulatory bodies, systems, and staff.
• Travel to different campuses to implement or test your solutions as necessary.

What You Wont Be Doing

• Rely on product or engineering teams for ops toolsyou'll create prototypes or automate independently.
• Delegate AI to draft an SOP and call it a dayyou'll develop solutions that truly work.
• Work in isolation at a central officebe prepared to travel and achieve on-site results.
• Transfer your strategy to others for executionyou'll manage the entire process yourself.

Senior Advisory Consultant Key Responsibilities

Lead outcomes within your designated operations pillar by devising systems that facilitate rapid school expansion with precision, speed, and AI-driven accuracy.

Basic Requirements

• Residing in North America with the ability to travel 10-40% as required.
• Over 5 years of experience in a dynamic, autonomous operational role.
• Demonstrated use of AI tools for research, writing, problem-solving, and automation.
• Excellent analytical and written communication abilities.
• Proactive mindset, low ego, and strong sense of ownership.
• Background in one of the following: permitting, construction, edtech systems, FP&A, or vendor management.
• Knowledge of tools such as Klair, Syft, Wrike, Retool, or other low-code platforms.
• Proven track record of quickly mastering new domains (legal, finance, compliance, systems, etc.).

Working with us

This is a full-time (40 hours per week), long-term position. The position is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as a Contractor of Record. The compensation level for this role is $100 USD/hour, which attracts to $200,000 USD/year assuming 40 hours per week and 50 weeks per year. The payment period is weekly.
