Overview

Finance Manager – Data Center Construction (South Pacific) – On-site in the South Pacific

Direct hire position with a salary range of $150,000.00/yr - $200,000.00/yr. Employment is on-site; must be able to work in the U.S. without current or future sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Lead construction budget development, cost forecasting, and financial alignment with project milestones
• Deliver monthly/quarterly financials, variance analysis, and performance insights
• Implement cost controls, manage procurement/labor spend, and reduce financial risks
• Oversee cash flow, vendor payments, and contract compliance
• Ensure tax, regulatory, and audit compliance across jurisdictions
• Manage payroll and logistics for local and international staff, including visas and permits
• Run accounting and tax reporting for the local entity; ensure accurate cost tracking
• Oversee housing, transport, and U.S. procurement coordination
• Lead local purchasing and liaise with the government on permits and payroll regulations
• Mentor finance staff and drive a collaborative, high-performance culture
• Advise leadership on budgets, investments, and capital planning

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (preferred but not required)
• 8+ years in financial management, preferably in construction or infrastructure projects
• CPA or CMA preferred
• Experience in financial planning, forecasting, budgeting, and reporting for data center construction projects or similar critical infrastructure
• Skilled in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle), Excel, and financial/project management tools
• Familiarity with financial regulations and industry standards specific to construction and infrastructure
• MUST be willing to relocate to the South Pacific
