IRONMAN World Championship: Utility Food Runner, Full Time, Temporary
Rate of Pay: $21.10/hour (No Gratuity)
Schedule: October 9, October 12, and October 13
Opportunity Awaits on the beautiful Island of Hawaii to be part of triathlon's most iconic event... As the host hotel for the IRONMAN World Championship, the King Kamehameha Kona Beach Resort Courtyard by Marriott currently has openings for talented Temporary, Full time Utility Food Runner to share the aloha spirit and strive to create a memorable guest experience.
Brief Summary of Job: During IRONMAN World Championship events on October 9, 12 and 13: Responsible for transferring food items and required dishes to banquet areas and setting up/ breaking down the food tent service areas.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities of the job include but are not limited to:
Maintain a friendly, cheerful and courteous demeanor at all times, while providing
personalized service to hotel guests.
Communicate effectively with guests and fellow team members.
Transfer food items and required dishes to banquet areas.
Assist with wiping down and maintaining food tent serving area.
Assist with proper food storage and rotation.
Provide assistance to other team members and departments to contribute to the best
overall performance of the department and hotel.
Perform other duties as assigned, requested or deemed necessary by management.
Requirements Knowledge/Education/Experience: One (1) year experience preferred. High school or equivalent education.
Skills/Abilities/Other Requirements: English speaking or bilingual. Ability to prioritize, organize and make good judgments. Ability to maintain good team member relations. Dependable.
