The OSINT Analyst will be responsible for gathering, analyzing, and interpreting open-source information to provide actionable intelligence. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in intelligence analysis and be proficient in using Flashpoint for deep and dark web monitoring, as well as other OSINT tools and techniques.
Key Responsibilities:
Data Collection and Analysis: Gather intelligence from various open-source platforms including social media, forums, websites, and deep and dark web sources. Utilize Flashpoint to monitor and analyze threat actors, trends, and indicators of compromise (IOCs).
Threat Assessment: Identify and assess potential threats, vulnerabilities, and risks to the organization or clients. Provide timely and accurate threat assessments and reports.
Reporting and Documentation: Prepare detailed intelligence reports and briefings for internal and external stakeholders.
Document methodologies and maintain accurate records of intelligence activities and findings.
Collaboration: Work closely with other intelligence analysts, cybersecurity professionals, and law enforcement agencies.
Collaborate with clients to understand their specific intelligence needs and tailor reports accordingly.
Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on the latest trends, tools, and techniques in OSINT and cybersecurity. Participate in training and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.
Requirements
Education: Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Intelligence Studies, Political Science, Criminal Justice, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred. Must be eligible to work in the US and able to obtain necessary security clearances if required.
