Job Description:

  • Assist agencies in planning, initiating, managing, executing, and closing out projects.
  • Lead and communicate with stakeholders.
  • Provide project planning, scheduling review, and expert opinion.
  • Support earned value management review and implementation.
  • Manage project performance monitoring and measurement.
  • Generate reports and documentation related to project/program objectives.
  • Coordinate and lead stakeholder briefings, encouraging proper participation in meetings.
  • Provide project support services, program integration, and project close-out services.
  • Advise SIOP Management and other groups on workload planning, task assignment, and office management.
  • Assist in planning, developing, and administering training programs for personnel, including a 5-year training plan.
  • Schedule and conduct coordination meetings to verify project focus and priorities.
  • Advise senior leadership on conflicts requiring government directives, providing background and solutions.
  • Communicate daily with Coordinators and stay informed on major initiatives.
  • Coordinate and advise program leadership on planning, management, and execution activities.
  • Document meetings within 2 days to maintain clarity and record-keeping.
  • Maintain historical knowledge of the program to assist in decision-making.
  • Coordinate weekly meetings with management groups and OICC.
  • Brief program efforts and updates to leadership as required.
  • Research and recommend applicable courses, classes, and seminars for training, considering location restrictions.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years experience as a Program Coordinator on large projects exceeding $400M.
  • Knowledge of design, program management, construction management, scheduling, and large program initiatives.
  • Ability to interpret contract documents.
  • Knowledge of the design process is desirable but not required.
  • Ability to develop creative, sound solutions independently.
  • Advanced project management and leadership skills, including managing large budgets and multiple contracts.
  • Experience guiding and motivating professionals in a matrix organization.
  • Effective use of employee and team feedback; understanding of group dynamics and project management tools.
  • Satisfactory proof of U.S. citizenship.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Primavera, CostWorks, and adaptability to new software like eCMS, MS Teams, and Zoom.
