These positions are located in Hawaii Volcanoes National Park, in the Visitor & Resource Protection Division.

Duties

1. Provide emergency and non-emergency dispatching assistance to 911 callers.
2. Monitor personnel such as law enforcement, structure fire, wildland fire, aviation, search and rescue to assure a response is made using a Computer Aided Dispatch (CAD).
3. Refer non-emergency callers to appropriate civilian and/or governmental agencies.
4. Prepare arrest records for criminal investigators and commissioned rangers.
5. Update wildland fire information for all incidents to ensure managers have updated information at the local, regional, and national levels.
