About the role:
We are looking for a passionate Pastry Cook 5 who strives for excellence in a fast-paced work environment. This position reports to our Kitchen Management Team.
What you will do:
- Prepare sweet items, pastries, cakes, cookies, muffins, fruit compotes, guest orders, and banquet event orders in accordance with production requirements and quality standards while maintaining a safe, sanitary work environment.
What you bring:
- High School education, culinary school or culinary institute education or equivalent experience.
- This is an entry-level position; training will be done on the job.
- Ability to operate, maintain, and properly clean all equipment and utensils. Basic mathematics is essential.
- Hawaii Food Handler's Card
- ServSafe certification (within 3 months)
- Tuberculosis Clearance
