25% Travel Expectation: On average about 12-14 weeks per year throughout the United States (including Alaska, Hawaii, Guam, and Puerto Rico).

The Transition Consultant plays a critical role in supporting financial advisors as they transition into the firm. Acting as a primary point of contact, the consultant ensures a seamless onboarding experience by coordinating all aspects of the transition process. This role requires strong project management skills, a deep understanding of financial services operations, and a client-focused mindset to deliver a smooth and efficient transition that minimizes disruption and accelerates productivity for new advisors.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide specialist advice on the interpretation and application of policies and procedures, resolving queries and issues and referring very complex or contentious issues to others.
  • Analyze specific problems and issues to find the best solutions, which could be technical or professional in nature.
  • Advise on designing new processes and systems that meet professional standards.
  • Work on complex administrative processes and databases to develop and test administrative procedures aligned with organizational needs.
  • Edit documents in line with organizational style guidelines and prepare information for publication.
  • Manage partnering relationships with internal clients, building effective working relationships and providing high-quality professional services to support business strategies.
  • Act as first-line supervisor of a customer service team, helping to achieve targets such as productivity or turnaround times, and handle complex issues.
  • Identify instances of noncompliance with policies, procedures, and relevant regulatory codes, reporting and escalating as appropriate.
  • Develop personal capabilities through assessment, training, coaching, and maintaining external professional accreditation where relevant.
  • Stay updated on relevant technology, regulation, and industry best practices through ongoing education and industry engagement.

  • Apply comprehensive knowledge to act independently, guiding and training others in communication, data analysis, process design, and decision-making.
  • Analyze data trends, interpret business needs, and contribute to business case creation and future state documentation.
  • Conduct gap analysis, plan and organize activities, and develop policies aligned with organizational objectives.
  • Communicate clearly and effectively, uncover client needs, and articulate the value of solutions.

Licenses/Certifications:

  • SIE required (prior to start), with no exemption or grandfathering applicable.
  • Series 7 License required or ability to obtain within 120 days.
  • Series 63 or 66 License required or ability to obtain within 120 days.

Education: High School diploma (Required)

Work Experience: 3 to 6 years of general experience

Certifications: FINRA certifications including AG, GS, and Securities Industry Essentials Exam (SIE)

Travel: Less than 25%
