Essential Duties And Responsibilities
The Information Technology Specialist is responsible for the provision of technical and operational subject matter expertise within the Command, Control, Communications, Computers, and Intelligence (C41) Data Fusion Center (DFC) and shall provide MARFORPAC (MFP) G3 technical services and subject matter expertise (SME) in support of Joint and Multi-lateral interoperability, and continuity in application of new concepts, training technology, Command & Control (C2) systems and associated efforts. The position performs technical and analytical functions supporting the Maritime Common Operation Picture (COP), the Common intelligence Picture (CIP), the Common Tactical Picture (CTP), the Beyond Line of Sight (BLOS) Tactical Data Link picture, long range C2, targeting and fires. The Information Technology Specialist will perform the following duties:
- Implement directed solutions to technical issues (configure, operate, and troubleshoot) affecting the C4I framework supporting the Command Operations Center (COC) to include the CTP and BLOS infrastructure, Command and Control Local Area Network (C2 LAN), and select software applications on DFC and COC systems.
- Provide daily operations and technical troubleshooting support to the MFP DFC and COC for Joint and Maritime operations and exercises.
- Operate GCCS-J terminals, using the COP Synchronization Tools (CST) software application and other protocols, and C2PC Gateways.
- Operate the Link Management and Monitoring Tool (LMMT).
- Operate Tactical Data Analysis & Connectivity System (TDACS).
- Update tracks on the COP and coordinate with USINDOPACOM, COMPACFLT, IMEF, III MEF and other echelons for any updated track inquiry.
- Perform coordination, direction and execution of standing MFP directives supporting the Red COP and G2 mission. Ensure integrity and availability of systems, networks and data through monitoring and analysis for the USINDOPACOM Area Of Responsibilities (AOR) and Joint Task Force (JTF), as required.
- Maintain critical components that expand the MFP Theater BLOS architecture.
- Maintain a backup of GCCS-J and a Joint Range Extension Applications Protocol (JREAP) Capability at the Continuity of Operations (COOP) location.
- Provide comprehensive exercise planning support to include development of Road to Crisis and Master Scenario Event List (MSEL) injects designed to test Data Fusion functions and program requirements.

Education And Experience
- High School Diploma required.
- Bachelor's Degree Preferred.
- Demonstrated knowledge of military doctrine, tactics, and command relationships at MAGTF or Joint/combined command level required.
- Possess a thorough knowledge of USMARFOR operations in relation to OPLANs/CONPLANS and exercise scenarios in the Pacific.
Core Skills/Competencies
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Current CompTIA Security+ certification.
- Advanced proficiency with groupware applications (SharePoint, MS Teams) and the Microsoft Office suite (Word, Power Point, Excel, etc.).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
WORKING CONDITIONS
- Required to sit for extended periods of time and maintain focus.
SPECIAL POSITION NOTATIONS
- A TS/SCI clearance is required for this position.
- Travel may be required.
- Qualification as an authorized company driver is required. All authorized company drivers must have a valid driver's license, current automobile insurance, and a driving record that is acceptable to the company's auto insurance provider.
SECURITY CLEARANCE
- Secret with TS eligibility is required for this position.
