Under the general direction of the Administrator, Director of Nursing, supervises patient care services staff on assigned shift. - As a member of the Rapid Response Team (RRT), responds to calls from nursing staff in order to avert further deterioration of a patients condition. - Promotes and maintains quality patient care through effective management of the activities of the total patient care services during his/her assigned shift. - In the absence of the Administrator and/or designee, the House Coordinator has the authority and responsibility for administrative decisions and appropriate notification of the Administrator-On-Call. - Responsible for the assessment, treatment, or care of all ages as required. Interprets patients self-report or behavior with an understanding of the cognitive, physical, emotional, and chronological maturation process.
