Job Description:

Location: Camp Smith, HI

Clearance Needed: Secret

Are you ready for a challenge that will keep you on the edge of the US military's use of big data? Do you have experience overseeing and applying data methodologies to develop analytic and operational use cases? Imagine working on a critical mission alongside seasoned professionals. Parsons is hiring a Data Analyst passionate about innovation and solving challenges to support our US INDOPACOM customer.

Specific Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand requirements and meet objectives; perform data collection, analysis, and interpretation to support strategic initiatives.
• Analyze structured and unstructured data, assess value, and develop use cases for command staff consumption.
• Explain complex technical information clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Educate and mentor users on data interpretation, enabling independent insights and decision-making.
• Proficient in programming languages such as Python, R, or SQL.
• Familiar with machine learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, scikit-learn, PyTorch).
• Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., matplotlib) and big data technologies (e.g., Pandas, Spark).
• Work independently to solve complex problems with minimal guidance.
• Demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.

Required Education/Experience:

• 2+ years relevant experience with a Bachelor's degree in a related field; experience may substitute for degree.
• 2+ years' experience working in a collaborative, multi-skilled team environment on data automation.
• Experience working with structured and unstructured data and automating data processing tasks.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of explaining technical issues clearly.
• Strong organizational and planning skills for tracking requests and project completion.

• Active DoD Secret security clearance.

Preferred Experience:

• Experience with data visualization tools and techniques.
• Prior military experience supporting US INDOPACOM activities.

Security Clearance Requirement:

An active Secret security clearance is required. This position is part of our Federal Solutions team, delivering resources to US government missions worldwide, supporting defense, security, intelligence, infrastructure, and environmental sectors.
