A Snapshot of Your Day
This role is responsible for the service and maintenance of Siemens Gamesa wind turbines at Kawailoa wind farm, on the island of Oahu, HI. Although this position will have a home wind farm site, it will also be part of a mobile team that supports one other site in Hawaii as needed. Provide excellent service to our customers, analyze and react to people in stressful, and hazardous situations.

About the Team
Kawailoa wind farm is a 30 turbine site located on the North Shore of Oahu, Hawaii. We've been operating for twelve years and provide renewable energy to the island of Oahu. You'll be joining an existing team of five wind turbine technicians, who each value safety, independent working, and a strong commitment to sustainable energy. We work alongside our customer daily and are therefore looking for someone with great personal skills and work ethic to compliment the team. Our team is headed by a Site Supervisor, who you'll report to directly, and an Operations Manager for the region.
As part of our region, we also have a wind farm located on the island of Maui, which you will be required to travel to on an as-needed basis. We value our work-life balance, and while the job can be demanding, Hawaii offers great prospects as a place to live in and spend your downtime. This is a full-time position, with overtime occasionally required (up to 20%).

The base salary range for this position in Oahu, Hawaii is $55,000.00 - $72,000.00. Selected candidates are also eligible to participate in a corporate Gainshare program.More details about this program can be shared during the interview process.
Specific offers are determined by various factors, such as experience, skills, certifications, and other business needs. Employees typically do not start at the top of the range, though compensation depends on each individual's qualifications.
