We are seeking a Research and Development Leader for a 5-year contract supporting DARPA. The ideal candidate will have an extensive R&D background with at least 15 years of experience in planning, developing, and executing R&D projects that address unique problems for major DoD programs. Qualifications:

1. Bachelor of Science degree in any discipline, supplemented with management training courses. (Master's degree preferred)
2. 15 years of R&D experience through active duty military service, support contractor roles, or as a DoD civilian, in a warfare specialty at increasingly advanced levels, involving planning, developing, and executing technical R&D projects addressing unique or controversial problems impacting major DoD programs.
3. Proven ability (15 years) in conceiving, planning, and conducting research studies that combine operational expertise with innovative technology approaches and sophisticated research techniques to evaluate military effectiveness and engineering feasibility.
4. Extensive experience (15 years) in applying advanced techniques, theories, and practices in technological programs, preferably those transitioned to operational use or related to thrust areas.
5. At least 7 years of experience and knowledge in program transition efforts is highly desirable.
6. Master of Science degree with management training courses is preferred.
7. Active TS/SCI clearance is required, subject to counterintelligence (CI) polygraph.
