Schedule Details
Employment Type: Full-time.
Work Schedule: 4x10's from Monday to Friday with Thursday off.
Shifts: Monday-Friday, from 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM 30-minute lunch.
Starting Pay: $18.50 per hour, commensurate with experience/skill set.
Location: Following the School-Based Health Dentist at various west side locations (Honaunau Elementary, Konawaena High School, Kealakehe Intermediate).
Flexibility: Travel and flexibility are important for these roles.

What You'll Do:
Patient Reception:
Be the friendly face that greets new and returning patients.
Check in patients for their appointments and update their records.
Provide general information and direct visitors to the right places.
Answer calls and connect them to the appropriate staff.
Schedule, reschedule, and verify appointments.
Keep track of patient encounters and appointments.
Patient Registration:
Collect and update patient information.
Prepare and assemble new patient health records.
Verify insurance eligibility and personal income.
Ensure patient charts are ready for appointments.
Patient Cashiering:
Enter patient charge data and collect payments.
Counsel patients who need assistance with payments.
Maintain daily billing records and prepare bank deposits.
Balance the cash drawer and resolve discrepancies.
Other Fun Stuff:
Review sliding fee scale applications with patients.
Assist with various tasks to keep our health center running smoothly.
What We're Looking For:
No prior experience required! We provide on-the-job training.
High School graduate or GED certificate.
Basic knowledge of office procedures.
Computer skills for data entry and report generation.
Ability to multitask and work under supervision.
Excellent communication skills with a diverse group of people.
A team player with high integrity and a friendly attitude.
