Hedonisia Hawaii EcoFeminist Community, founded in 2004 in the Hawaiian rainforest, focuses on ecofeminism and ecotourism as its social and economic foundations.
Despite its small size, our projects have a global reach. We are idealists and pragmatists seeking entrepreneurial and creative solutions to global challenges.
In 2018, Hedonisia Hawaii was destroyed by lava from the Kilauea eruption. Undeterred, we continue to work on creative projects initiated before the eruption.
A one-acre green zone, known as a Kipuka, remained unscathed by lava. We are preparing to return to our land by planting and landscaping this area.
Meanwhile, our community operates virtually. Over five hundred volunteers worldwide have contributed to our Lava to Lotus Portfolio.
We invite volunteers to join our virtual team and select projects that resonate with them.
We seek skilled WordPress volunteers to assist with our Hedonisia Lava to Lotus Web Portfolio.
Volunteers will communicate and teach during online troubleshooting sessions to improve our WordPress sites. Visitors are encouraged to suggest enhancements.
We also seek volunteers with SEO expertise to optimize our WordPress sites.
Communication will be via Zoom, Google Meet, or WhatsApp, with discussions and screen sharing. Our team is based in Hawaii, available from 7 am to 8 pm Hawaii time.
Feel free to propose site improvements based on your skills.
Upon project completion, volunteers receive a Certificate of Appreciation and references.
We look forward to collaborating with you!
