We are seeking candidates for the following position:

Position Details

• Requisition Type: Contingent (Open)
• Position Status: Full Time
• Title: Construction Surveillance Technician I
• Location: Honolulu, HI
• Security Clearance: Interim Secret to start, with ability to obtain up to TS/SCI with Counterintelligence polygraph

Responsibilities

The primary function of the Construction Surveillance Technician is to provide daily security support for SCIF & SAPF construction efforts, including:

• Assessing and recommending improvements to policies, procedures, or systems
• Identifying threats, vulnerabilities, and risks
• Managing escort personnel and maintaining logs
• Enforcing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
• Conducting inspections of delivery materials for secure spaces
• Monitoring construction of secure spaces and documenting processes for accreditation

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 1-2 years related experience, or 5-6 years experience without degree
• Security Fundamentals Professional Certification (SFPC) counts towards 3 years of experience
• Special Program Security Certification (SPSC) counts towards 5 years of experience
• Knowledge of ICD 705 and compliance with physical and technical security standards
• Safety training such as OSHA certifications within first 30 days
• Must complete CDSE STEPP ICD 705 Physical Security Construction Requirements for SAP within 30 days
