Job Summary

The Program Technician performs animal diagnostic testing at the UADA Veterinary Diagnostic Laboratory, including serology, microbiology, molecular diagnostics, and other lab duties, ensuring quality and safety standards are met. Responsibilities include sample preparation, testing, record-keeping, client communication, and lab maintenance.

Qualifications

  • Minimum: Bachelor's Degree in a biological, engineering, or technological field.
  • Preferred: Bachelor's Degree plus 2 years' experience or Master's Degree plus 1 year experience, with experience in disease testing and molecular PCR techniques.
