Job Description: Counselor and Testing Coordinator

The counselor position includes working with students in grades K-6 and serving as a testing coordinator.

Qualifications and Requirements

1. Minimum qualification: Bachelor's Degree.
2. If hired without a completed Teacher's Education Program, you have a maximum of 3 years to obtain a valid Hawaii teaching license. Enrollment in a qualifying program is required to continue employment.
3. You must demonstrate active pursuit of Hawaii licensing requirements annually, as set by the Hawaii Teacher Standards Board (HTSB).
4. It is your responsibility to ensure your enrolled program aligns with your teaching line.
5. Upon hire, you must have a valid Hawaii teaching license or Emergency Hire Permit.
