Job Overview

Amentum is seeking a dynamic Finance Program Analyst with planning and administrative experience supporting Financial Operations Management. This position will directly support U.S. Indo-Pacific Command (USINDOPACOM) Comptroller (J84) at Camp H.M. Smith, Hawaii.

Ideal Candidate

• Self-starter with initiative, able to work independently after initial instructions.
• Skilled in troubleshooting and coordinating with team members and stakeholders through various communication channels.
• Strong communication skills for gathering information and presenting results.
• Analytical thinking to analyze large data sets and identify connections.
• Proficient in IT platforms including data analytics tools, databases, Microsoft Office, and data visualization tools.
• Experience with supporting IT platforms such as Shared Drive, web-based systems, and NIPR/SIPR platforms.
• Experience in planning, processing, and tracking financial documents and maintaining archives.
• Ability to synchronize planning, administration, staffing, and knowledge management activities.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide procurement and administrative support for USINDOPACOM J0 teams, including assistance with forms like Purchase Requests and MIPRs.
• Monitor funding status and notify relevant parties of updates, review vendor invoices, PRs, and POs.
• Assist in preparing phase and expenditure plans and FFRDC justifications.
• Manage financial tracking, forecasting, and prepare briefing materials and reports.
• Support the management of unfunded requirements, including data validation and collaboration for package submissions.

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in business or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Experience with the Navy's ERP system.
• Proficiency in analytical/policy document writing.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Effective communication skills for reports and briefings, including to senior officials.
• Secret clearance; US Citizenship required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree in finance, business, or related field.
• 2+ years at Echelon 2 or 3 organizational level.
• 3+ years in USINDOPACOM AOR.
• Experience in DoD contracting/acquisitions.
• APDP/DAWIA Level I or higher.
• Top-Secret clearance with SCI eligibility; US Citizenship required.
