Job Description: The Program Manager will support the operational objectives of the NAVFAC Pacific Operations Department.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan, organize, and oversee programs to improve the quality, effectiveness, and timeliness of Expeditionary/Contingency Engineering objectives.
  • Support program integration, coordination, development of strategies, plans, processes, projects, resource requirements, and reporting.
  • Analyze administrative and operational program requirements, procedures, and issues.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders and advise on initiatives.
  • Recommend actions and controls to optimize operational efficiency.
  • Manage contingency planning activities, set goals, policies, and objectives for services supporting contingency operations.
  • Develop strategies to maintain performance levels supporting NAVFAC management in expeditionary locations.
  • Use analytical methods to assess program development and improve organizational effectiveness.
  • Gather and analyze data for reporting, identify trends, and alert management to issues.
  • Prepare visual materials for briefings and presentations, and conduct briefings as needed.
  • Collect critical information from stakeholders to inform mitigation strategies for cost, schedule, safety, and quality.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Experience with program management principles, including goal setting, milestone planning, and evaluation.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills suitable for senior leadership.
  • Ability to prepare agendas, coordinate meetings, and drive action items.
  • Proficiency with PC software such as MS Office and NAVFAC-specific tools.
  • Must hold a secret security clearance.
