The CDBG-Disaster Recovery Program Specialist I is assigned to theSR-20 salary range. Appointments may be made at any rate within the salary range from $4,858, SR-20-D, to $6,922, SR-20-M, per month at which appropriate qualified applicants can be recruited.Please attach your resume to your application.
Assists in the planning, coordination and implementation of the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) program activities; assists in the development and implementation of a monitoring system to ensure compliance with federal regulations, policies, guidelines and requirements; and performs other related duties as required.
Distinguishing Characteristics:
This class differs from the CDBG Program Specialist II in that the CDBG Program Specialist I performs moderately difficult work in assisting in the development and implementation of plans, policies and procedures, and program activities relative to the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) program; whereas, the CDBG Program Specialist II performs as a staff specialist for the development and implementation of plans, policies and procedures for monitoring and evaluating compliance with pertinent Federal regulations, policies, guidelines and participatory requirements and for participating in the coordination and implementation of the CDBG programs and/or other federal programs.
