Position Overview

This role is pending contract award and involves managing warehouse activities supporting the Logistics Integration Support (LIS) Program at Marine Corps Logistics Command (MCLC), Albany, GA. The successful candidate will ensure smooth logistics operations and support activities for MCLC.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with government and OEM vendors for receipt, issuance, and shipping of assets; escalate issues as needed.
  • Implement process improvements at the site.
  • Establish procedures for verifying shipments, handling materials, and maintaining inventory accuracy.
  • Manage the flow of incoming and outgoing materials and orders.
  • Perform operational tasks as directed by the Program or Operations Manager.
  • Develop staffing plans, manage training, and oversee team requirements.
  • Coordinate with USG representatives and procurement to expedite materials.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree or 7+ years supervisory experience preferred.
  • 7+ years in logistics or supply chain; 4+ years in team leadership required.
  • Experience with warehousing, inventory handling, and working with DoD agencies.
  • Knowledge of supply chain management, MILSTRIP, ISO, safety, and training standards.
  • Experience with DoD systems like FEDMALL and WEBVLIPS preferred.
  • Ability to obtain a government CAC and Secret Security Clearance if necessary.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and understanding of military equipment and maintenance programs.
  • Strong communication skills, strategic thinking, and ability to operate under crisis conditions.
