Job Title: Senior Accountant
Location: Remote

Working Hours: Part-time (initially 20 hours per week), with potential to increase based on workload

Job Description:

We're seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant to own and execute end-to-end accounting operations. The ideal candidate brings solid accounting expertise, strong attention to detail, and a hands-on approach. This role is perfect for someone comfortable working in a lean tech stack (primarily QuickBooks and ADP) while delivering high-level financial accuracy and insights.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure up-to-date, GAAP-compliant books using QuickBooks and other general accounting tools.
• Handle full-cycle accounts payable and receivable. Collaborate with external partners for select AP/AR functions.
• Categorize, code, and map all financial transactions with accuracy and consistency.
• Create and manage bills, invoices, and sales order records.
• Process biweekly payroll through ADP and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
• Lead the month-end close process, including posting revenue, managing accruals, and reconciling accounts.
• Maintain capital expenditure (capex) and depreciation schedules in accordance with accounting standards.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Minimum of 5+ years of relevant accounting experience
• Strong proficiency in QuickBooks and ADP Payroll
• In-depth understanding of GAAP and full-cycle accounting
• Experience with revenue recognition, accruals, and month-end close
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and analytical skills
• Self-starter with the ability to work independently and cross-functionally
• CPA or CPA track a plus
