Brief Position Overview
The MilTech Technology Application Developer โ VID is part of a team of software engineers developing and supporting a web-based application, Virtual Industry Day ( VID ), used by government agencies, designed to help accelerate information research. With this information available, technology solutions can be more quickly identified and transitioned to the U.S. government. Work on the FullStack team involves both the front and backends, creating new features while ensuring security. The individual in this position will have the opportunity to work on all parts of the professional, web-based application used by clients around the country, as well as other possible software technologies as project needs arise.

Duties and Responsibilities
The MilTech Technology Application Developer will support the Virtual Industry Day ( VID ) platform development and functionality, as well as other MilTech-assisted project needs, including, but not limited to the following tasks:

This position may require the ability to obtain and maintain a DOD National Security Clearance and Common Access Card ( CAC ), and/or meet other government-defined restrictions appropriate for work level and access. Other security-related requirements will include receiving favorable background checks by state and federal agencies pursuant to federal law and regulations.
Successful candidate must be able to comply with the federally mandated requirements of U.S. export control laws, which may require proof that candidate is a U.S. person. Per 22 CFR ยง120.15, U.S. person means a person who is a lawful permanent resident as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1101(a)(20) or who is a protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3).
This position requires ability to travel via all modes of transport when necessary to interact with DOD and/or DHS customers, including travel throughout the Continental United States as well as Alaska, Hawaii, U.S territories and possessions, and possibly other worldwide locations.
