Auditors examine accounts to render opinions on the financial position and operations of governmental agencies, individuals, and business entities. The work involves sound accounting judgment and adherence to auditing standards and principles.
Performs moderately difficult professional auditing, assists higher-level auditors, and performs other duties as assigned.
Conducts difficult field audits independently, may supervise lower-level auditors, and performs related duties.
