Role Description

The Department is recruiting several high-level management positions for both rail and bus. Compensation for senior positions within a specified salary range is based on actual experience.These are full-time positions for Rail Transit Professionals, located onsite in Honolulu County, HI. The Rail Transit Professionals will be responsible for tasks including overseeing daily transit operations, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, planning and executing transit projects, conducting performance analysis, and maintaining communication with stakeholders. The role requires a dedicated individual to manage day-to-day transit functions, report progress, and work collaboratively with teams to enhance transit systems for the community.

Qualifications

• Experience in multimodal transit operations (including rail transit) , transportation management, and project planning
• Knowledge of safety regulations and compliance standards in the transit industry
• Analytical skills for performance analysis and reporting
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to work onsite in Honolulu County, HI, full-time
• Bachelor's degree in Transportation, Urban Planning, Engineering, or related field is preferable
• Previous experience in a similar role within the transit or transportation sector is a plus
