The Teacher Aide will provide support to the classroom Teacher by assisting with the development of each individual child enrolled in Ohana Keiki Day Care Center. Hours and shifts will vary according to the needs of the preschool. Qualification Requirements: ECE Teachers for Group Child Care Centers for the State of Hawai'i must be at least 16 years old per DHS requirements and meet one of the following qualifications (Education): Option 1: High School Vocational Child Care Training Course or Option 2: Orientation Training course at the Center Teacher Aides for the State of Hawai'i must be registered with PATCH / Department of Human Services (DHS) Early Childhood Registry and be assigned a Caregiver ID. DHS Early Childhood Registry reviews the applications and verifies that the Aide meets the requirements as stated above.
