Job Details

Job Summary: Performs various duties related to stocking shelves in an Exchange store or storeroom.

Responsibilities:

1. Unpacks, segregates, and stocks merchandise on shelves according to established instructions.
2. Moves and stocks merchandise within the storage area as necessary.
3. Prices merchandise, possibly using a price tag machine.
4. Assists in conducting periodic inventories by counting stock items on shelves.
5. Maintains cleanliness and orderliness of storage and sales areas.
6. Assists sales personnel in bagging and wrapping customer purchases.
7. Works under supervision, following specific instructions, especially in new or unfamiliar situations. Completed work is reviewed for compliance with instructions.
8. Performs other related duties as assigned.

Physical Effort: Stands, walks, and handles light to medium weight objects.

Working Conditions: Works indoors, exposed to drafts, noise, dust, and dirt. May stand for long periods on concrete floors.

Training Requirement: Hazardous Material (HazMat) training must be completed within 90 days of hire, per Department of Transportation regulations.

Qualifications: No experience required; High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
