The Department of Transportation Services is looking for a Transportation Facilities Compliance Officer (Planner VII) to lead the day-to-day management of the Rail Facilities Management & Maintenance Branch including performance management. This position develops, implements, and monitors strategies to ensure rail operations and maintenance work is completed, contractual requirements are fulfilled, and Key Performance indicators are achieved through effective leadership, optimal resource allocation, performance management, and continuous improvement.

Equivalent to graduation from a regionally-accredited four-year college or university with specialization in city planning, architecture, engineering, economics, sociology, public administration or a related field.

Four years of professional work experience in transportation planning and/or engineering projects, one of which shall have been in a supervisory capacity, which shall have involved facility planning related to transportation or industrial activities.
