This opportunity resides with All-Domain Operations (ADO), a business group within HII's Mission Technologies division. HII designs, develops, integrates and manages the sensors, systems and other assets necessary to support integrated ISR operations and accelerated decision-making.

HII Mission Technologies is seeking a Systems Engineer to join our team in Honolulu, Hawaii. This role involves solving complex technology challenges, integrating electronic processes, and applying system engineering principles to design and secure mission-critical systems. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in networking, security, and system architecture while contributing to strategic engineering solutions. Active DoD clearance required.

What You Will Do:

• Perform complex technical project tasks related to systems integration and technology optimization.
• Design and implement secure electronic processes to resolve total system challenges.
• Apply systematic and analytical approaches to improve workflow, organization, and planning.
• Direct and assist system engineers in secure systems design and implementation.
• Develop strategies for network and security operations, including LANs, WANs, VPNs, routers, firewalls, network protocols, and vulnerability analysis.
• Lead and advise on data encryption, key management, PKI, data warehousing, and data mining techniques.
• Provide expert consultation on best practices for network security and system performance.
• Rely on extensive experience and judgment to independently accomplish goals and drive technical solutions.

What We're Looking For:

• 5 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 3 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; 0 years experience with PhD or Juris Doctorate in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 9 years relevant experience.
• Comprehensive knowledge of system design, security protocols, and network architecture.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to resolve complex technology challenges.
