As a frontline member of the commercial team, youll generate and close leads, engage with producers and feed buyers, and develop high-trust customer relationships. Youll be part of a growing team thats defining the climate-forward cattle industryand youll be rewarded for your success with direct sales commissions.Key ResponsibilitiesDrive top-of-funnel activity by identifying, qualifying, and converting prospective customers in the beef and dairy space (cow-calf, backgrounding, feedlots, and dairy).Conduct outbound outreach (calls, emails, event networking) to initiate conversations and set meetings with decision-makers.Deliver compelling product pitches that speak to both methane reduction and nutrition benefits.Manage sales pipeline in CRM, tracking communications, lead status, and conversion milestones.Negotiate and close deals, working cross-functionally with operations and regulatory to ensure seamless onboarding.Identify and develop strategic partnerships with feed companies, co-ops, and supply chain collaborators.Contribute to the development of sales collateral and customer success resources.Represent Symbrosia at tradeshows, field days, industry events, and on-site customer meetings.Provide market intelligence and customer feedback to inform go-to-market strategy and product iterations.Required Qualifications25 years of sales or business development experience, ideally in agriculture, feed, animal health, or sustainability sectors.Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales targets and close deals.Excellent interpersonal skills and confidence speaking with ranchers, feed managers, and supply chain stakeholders.Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical benefits clearly.Experience with CRM systems (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce).Self-starter mentality with a passion for building new markets and driving real-world change.Willingness to travel to customer sites, industry events, and occasional team gatherings (~1020% travel expected).Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, startup environment while collaborating across teams.Alignment with Symbrosias mission and values, including sustainability, equity, and innovation.Bonus QualificationsBackground in agtech, livestock nutrition, or carbon credit markets.Experience selling to US, EU, or Australian cattle markets.Familiarity with carbon reduction protocols or ESG metrics in agriculture.Compensation & Benefits$50,000-$65,000 base salary (based on experience).Performance-based commission on product sales ($70k target)401k + matching100% health insurance, 50% dependents21 days PTO, 13 flex holiday PTO, 1 birthday month PTO Commission on product sales (structured with performance tiers and uncapped earning potential).Equity options for early-stage hires.Flexible remote work policy with opportunities to travel.Mission-driven team culture and measurable climate impact.RequirementsAdhere to all company policies, procedures and practices.Physical DemandsMust be able to work in various physical environments & conditions.Ability to bend and squat.Ability to climb ladders.Fiscal AuthorityNone
