The primary role of the Retail Sales Associate is to engage with customers at retail locations and generate sales leads for our HVAC department. Strong communication skills and a positive attitude is required for this role. The Retail Sales Associate will set appointments and book free consultations for our customers!

Responsibilities:

  • Become a brand ambassador by understanding client needs through consulting and providing solutions.
  • Drive key account growth personally and through others.
  • Provide support to sales team and ensure adherence to performance standards
  • Provide outstanding customer service and build rapport with clients
  • Develop an understanding of HVAC products and services to communicate their benefits to potential customers.
  • Conduct initial outreach to prospective clients to educate them on the companys services.
  • Setting appointments with customers to conduct free estimates for replacement or maintenance services.
  • Seek new sales leads through prospecting and providing exceptional customer service.

Qualifications:

  • Previous Sales, Retail, lead generation, or brand ambassador experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Knowledge of sales and marketing techniques
  • Valid Driver's License Required
  • Ability to maintain a positive and professional tone

Pay Transparency:

The starting average rate for this opportunity ranges from $18-$20/hr plus commission. The actual base pay is dependent upon many factors, such as training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs, and market demands. Other rewards may include incentive plan opportunities and annual bonus eligibility. We provide a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays, and paid time off (PTO). A candidates salary history will not be used in compensation decisions. Please note that the compensation information is a good faith estimate for this position. It assumes a rate based on location and experience.

Physical Demands:

  • Stand/Sit: Must be able to remain in stationary position 50% of the time.
  • May be required to bend, climb (Stairs/Ladders), do repetitive motion, kneel, reach, squat, stand, crawl, walk, and run
  • May be required to drive and sit for long periods of time
  • Must be able to maneuver up to 75 lb. by lifting, carrying, pushing or pulling.
  • May be required to work in outdoor weather conditions.
