The Mgr I -- OSPC is responsible for managing Outside Plant Line workers, Leader Line workers, Cable Splicers, and Cable Maintenance Technicians (CZTII) responsible for building, maintaining, and upgrading the copper and fiber Outside Plant Network and grooming of HICAP data lines including but not limited to HDSL 2, HDSL 4, DSO, ISDN, PRI, OTR 1, EOC, EOF, HSI, and HTTV. Essential Functions: Manage staff in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws Monitor and develop competencies of direct-reports Assign and manage workload to ensure that due dates are met Monitor the work being performed by direct reports to assure actions being taken are appropriate and effective Monitor attendance and perform appraisals as needed for direct-reports Manage overtime Ensure proper time reporting procedures are followed to properly account for distribution of capital and expense labor Manage and maintain a staffing model that utilizes demand and routine work results to determine ...Manager, Maintenance Technician, Data Services, Technical, Operations, Communications, Business Services
